We are approaching the year milestone of the partnership between Mercedes-Benz and Ducati. To celebrate their anniversary together, the luxury automaker and high-end motorcycle designer decided to display the most powerful Mercedes- Benz SLK55 made to date - the SLK55 AMG and lightweight, zephyr of a motorcycle - the Ducati Streetfighter 848.

Both the Mercedes-Benz SLK55 AMG and Ducati Streetfighter 848 share a yellow exterior trait. Inside, the SLK55 AMG is appointed in rich nappa leather with contrasting yellow stitching. It also features the signature AMG Performance steering wheel. Outside, it's features include AMG exclusive body styling (including AMG spoiler lip), light alloy wheels, and two sets of chrome-plated twin tailpipes. To top off its asethtics, the AMG door sill panels are illuminated in yellow by LED technology.

Aside from their fierce enviable looks, the Ducati Streetfighter 848 and Mercedes-Benz SLK55 AMG possess another commonality. Neither model was specially tuned for the show. The power they boast is completely inherent.  For the 500-pound Streetfighter 848, that's 132 horsepower (hp). For the SLK55 AMG, which we previously mentioned is the most powerful SLK55 ever, it is a breath-taking 422 hp!

The  young relationship between AMG and Ducati  is destined to continue growing, as they have already produced superior designs and engineering on their current projects, and Mercedes-Benz of South Atlanta is eager to see what they'll deliver to enthusiasts next.
